The Print

Sometime in New York City | Lithograph

No more than twelve of the Sometime in New York City posters are known to exist.

Featuring Bob Gruen’s iconic portrait of John Lennon, with dramatic coloured overlays evocative of a theatrical film release, the lithograph poster was created in partnership with the celebrated design studio Wherefore Art?, known for album cover designs for artists including George Harrison, the Traveling Wilburys, Queen and Elton John. These posters were never made available commercially and have remained unused since the time of publication.
